Wash Bay Labourer / RAP Student

Available work locations: Coaldale, Dunmore, High River, Lougheed, Olds, and Stettler
Title of this position reports to: Regional Service Manager – North or South dependent on branch location
Full-time, permanent position
Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM w/ a 1-hour unpaid lunch break that works inline with school schedule
Seasonal hours may apply

Job Summary

The position will be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, washing, and detailing equipment and vehicles, assisting with equipment repairs, and many other duties. We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter and enjoys a fun atmosphere.

Main Responsibilities / Tasks

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

• Maintain a clean work environment
• Wash and detail service vehicles
• Assist technicians with jobs when asked
• Clean and detail equipment
• Install and remove decals
• Pickup and deliver parts
• Load and unload equipment
• Minor safety inspections on loader, forklift, fire extinguishers, and service trucks
• Maintain a clean yard, snow removal, garbage pickup, equipment re-organizing
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Stand/Walk for 8+ hours
• Squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, and use of ladders and stairs
• Lifting up to 50lbs/23kg
• Carrying up to 50lbs/23kg

Competencies and Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Alberta Driver’s License
• Ability to perform complex repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment
• following procedures
• Work in a safe and efficient manner
• Be available to work on weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays during peak season
• Be reliable
